“Infant Readers”
My name is Mary Lynskey. I have been teaching for almost twenty years and a Principal for seven years. In 2007 I qualified as a Reading Recovery teacher and ever since my passion is teaching literacy in the infant classes and to see them progress. I have created this pre-reading scheme ” Infant Readers” to give the children a sense of achievement in reading at an early stage of their learning of phonics. By creating a positive attitude to reading at the initial stage in primary school, this will benefit them throughout their educational journey.
